Pray for Families (forgiveness)

04 09 10

Happy Easter Friday!

As we stand renewed by the resurrection, let us continue to keep ourselves in check. It is so easy to slip into old ways, especially when it comes to resentment, which eventually turns to bitterness. I saw the following tagline on my cousin's email and loved what a beautiful and true sentiment it was.

"To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you." ~Lewis B. Smedes

As we near the sunrise of Divine Mercy Sunday, let us forgive a family member or friend who has hurt us, and then reconcile and rejoice!

Man may be merciful to his fellow man, but the LORD'S mercy reaches all flesh, reproving, admonishing, teaching, as a shepherd guides his flock;
Merciful to those who accept his guidance, who are diligent in his precepts. Sirach 18: 11-13

Pray for Families, that they make always seek to reconcile!

Have a wonderful weekend.
Peace, Love, and Joy,
Janet
