Pray for M.O.M. (Mercy)

I heard a great homily at mass yesterday. The priest said, “Life begins with mercy. When we forgive someone, OUR life begins.”

This completely follows last Fridays call to action: Forgiveness. Mercy. Reconcilation. We don’t lose, we gain. We aren’t “giving in”. In dying to self and imitating Christ, we are reborn.

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and given us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting their trespasses against them and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us.
2 Corinthians 17-20

Today let us celebrate a renewed life in Christ. Let us see Christ in everyone we meet.

Let us pray too that all marriages are reborn in Him.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
