Pray for Families (Classroom for Holiness)

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Families are such a blessing…….and admit it, sometimes we mumble under our breath about them being a curse! Whether it’s the family we grew up in, the family we are raising, or the family we married into, it’s easy to feel that the Lord is frequently testing us. Ironically, sometimes it’s the same quality that we once adored in a family member that eventually drives us nuts....and challenges our unconditional love!

Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for edifying, as fits the occasion, that it may impart grace to those who hear. Eph 4:29

This week, look at your family as your new classroom for holiness! Here you can practice charity, patience, service, forgiveness, and so forth. You may find that in joyous self-giving you will begin to encounter Christ in your family members.

There are many who say: 'O that we might see some good! Let the light of your face shine on us, O Lord' Ps 4:6

Let us pray for all families, that they may grow in unity, through love.
