Pray for Families (The Gift of a Father’s Love)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

Father’s Day is almost here, so let’s pause to contemplate the importance of fathers. They bring stability to the family just by their presence. When they stand united with their wife, the mother of their children, their actions speak louder than any words or lectures could. When they are loving and merciful, their children will know and understand more fully what heavenly love and mercy are. Such a gift!

The LORD bless you and keep you! Numbers 6:24

We pray for all dads, that through the grace of God, if they are good fathers, that they become great fathers and if they are great fathers they persevere in imitating Christ so that they are a light for all.

Conversely, there are dads who desert fatherhood, men who don’t know they are fathers, and men who live in regret for not being there for their kids.

Remember no more the sins of my youth; remember me according to your mercy, because of your goodness, LORD. Psalms 25:7

Let us pray fervently for absentee dads and encourage their fatherhood, for it is never to late to step up, step in, and glorify God by a conversion of heart.

The LORD, the LORD, a God gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in love and fidelity, continuing his love for a thousand generations, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. Exodus 34:6-7

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Encourage dads, and love the one you have! Pass it on!
