Pray for Families (self-sacrifice)

Greeting to all of you on this third Friday of Lent,

When I think of Lent, I think of self-sacrifice for the good of self and the good of others. When I think of parenting I think of what a great training ground for self-sacrifice! Oh, the Lord is so wise!

As we pray for the strength and stability of all families today, let us also make some sacrifice today for the good of our own families and for the praise and glory of our God. But remember to make such sacrifices with a cheerful countenance and sincere heart. Joy is infectious, but so is grumpiness!

The heart changes the countenance, either for good or evil. The sign of a happy heart is a cheerful face. Sirach 13:25-26

As always, pass it on!

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
