Pray for Families (Quiet Time)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

This week I was in "Sin City", Las Vegas, NV on business.  Every time I go, I see things with new eyes and hear things with new ears.  Being cooped up inside, I was in the darkness craving the light!  I was stifled by the darkness of the rooms and lack of natural light throughout the hotel and casino.  I was choked by the staleness of the air.  My peace was disturbed by noise everywhere!  The elevators blasted advertisements. Taxicabs had video screens loudly assaulting my ears with everything Vegas.  I craved light and silence and a remote control to adjust the noise and darkness of Vegas.  There was only one place I knew of where I could seek Light and silence....so I did.  Thank you, Jesus!

By waiting and by calm you shall be saved. In quiet and in trust your strength lies.  Psalm 37:5-11

With all the noise that surrounds us, even in our own environments, schedule some time for silence.   Sweet silence is where you can find The Lord.  His whispers are soft and he listens to all your prayers. So schedule some quiet time, and don't forget to pray for families.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Share some quiet time.  Pass it on.
