Pray for Marriages (Rest a while)

Greetings Prayer Angels,

Peace be with you!

As Advent begins amid the Christmas frenzy, it is important to define your expectations of the season before they are inadvertently defined for you.  The stress of preparations, many self-imposed, can bring out the worst in all of us.  Stop now and carve out some quiet time with the Lord.  Speak to Him, allow Him to speak to you.

“Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” Mark 6:31

Yes, rest in Him first.   If married, discuss your Advent priorities as a couple and calendar them!  Even if it's just time to read scripture or a book in preparation for Christmas.  Don’t forget to carve out some prayer time together as well.

As you pray for marriages, ask that you receive the best Christmas gifts ever.  The true gifts of Peace, Joy, and Love.

I will be praying along with you, asking that all of you receive these gifts:

Peace in your marriage,
Joy in knowing Him, and
Love to share with all.

Prayerfully yours,
Janet

Share the Joy of the season.  Pass it on!
