Pray for Families (Come to the table of plenty)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

It is often distressful when a family member wanders away from the Lord or perhaps has never known the Lord.  One wants to scream out, “You don’t know what you’re missing!” but refrains since who has the words to truly describe the transformative effects of the Spirit?  Who can describe with words the goodness of the Lord?

Peace
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.  John 14:27

Love and Mercy
O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plenteous redemption.  Psalm 130: 7

Joy
Those to whom God gives riches and property, and grants power to partake of them, so that they receive their lot and find joy in the fruits of their toil: This is a gift from God.  For they will hardly dwell on the shortness of life, because God lets them busy themselves with the joy of their heart.  Ecclesiastes 5: 18-19

Hope
Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.  Corinthians 4: 16-17

 Faith in Love
We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.  God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.  1 John 4:16

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.  Romans 11:36

Invite a wandering family member to spend time with you.  May your non-verbal witness and silent prayer for family be the spark that ignites.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Share the hope that is in you.  Pass it on.

Pray for Marriages (Elimination of doubt)

Greetings Prayer Warriors!

When you hear the story of the apostle, Thomas, who had to see the wounds of Christ before he would believe that Christ had risen from the dead, do you identify with him, or tell yourself that you would never doubt like he did?

When difficulties arise in marriage, do you wed yourself to doubt or trust in Him?

If your marriage is weak or even crumbling, do you have faith the Lord will lead you to peace, or do you doubt?

When you pray for marriages, do you pray with faith that the Lord will hear your prayers, and His will be done, or do you doubt?

“I do believe, help my unbelief!”  Mark 9:24

Lord, it is so easy to believe in your compassion, mercy, and love when things are going well, but so difficult when struggling with a heavy cross.  Help couples trust and have confidence in You, that no matter what, if they trust in You, you will eventually lead them to a place of repose.  Jesus we trust in You!

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Never doubt the power of prayer.  Pass it on!

Pray for Families (Love and Mercy)

Greetings Prayer Warriors!

The LORD, the LORD, a God gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in love and fidelity.  Exodus 34:6

We know God is Love, but does everyone know that He is Mercy as well?  His mercy is as deep and unfathomable as the ocean. He is waiting for you to invite His mercy to crash upon the shores of your soul and to buoy your heart.  Encourage not only your family, but everyone you know to seek His mercy.  Seeking His mercy is as easy as A-B-C.

Ask for mercy.   Humble yourself.  Just ask.
  •   Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  Matthew 7:7

Be merciful in deed, word and prayer.  In imitation of His love and because you love Him, seek to relieve the misery of others.  Adopt an attitude of mercy.
  •         Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.  Luke 6:36

Completely Trust in Jesus.   Turn to Him and in sincerity pray, “Jesus I trust in You!”
  •        Father…. not my will but yours be done. Luke 22:42

Everyone deserves mercy.  Pray to Mercy, for mercy.   Pray for family, friends, & strangers. May we all drown in His mercy!

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Create a tidal wave of mercy.  Pass it on, and on, and on.

It all begins with prayer.

“Behold, I make all things new.”  Rev 21:5
