Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Purity. It is
something that God wills for us and society used to value. But the evil one is waging a battle to
corrupt us through our eyes, our ears, and our hearts. All forms of media bombard us with pictures,
words, and sensuality that steal our purity.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that
you keep them from the evil one. John
17:15
Lord, we come before you and lift up all families in prayer. We first beg you for the protection of
children, that their eyes do not see, there ears do not hear, and their minds
do not retain anything that attacks their innocence and purity. For our teens, may they be strengthened so
that they walk away from temptation and separate themselves from all that is
perverse in their midst. For adults, may
all have the fortitude to turn from evil thoughts and desires, grow in purity,
lead by example, protect our youth, and pray in earnest. Lord save us from ourselves!
Do everything without grumbling or questioning, that you may
be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a
crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like lights in the world.
Phillipians 2:14-15
