Greetings Prayer Warriors,
One the journey of life, we can’t help but occasionally be
wounded either physically or emotionally.
Sometimes these wounds can be quite debilitating. Both leave scars, and scars fade, but somehow
emotional scars can return to the surface.
They can start to effect family, personal, and business
relationships. We can harbor anger,
resentment, vengeance, self-righteousness, and ill-will. Unfortunately these feelings become our
prison. They become like a poison that
continues to inhibit our spiritual growth and begins to separate us from God.
Today let us pray for forgiveness and healing.
For the ability to let go of past hurts,
Lord soften our heart.
For the courage to love those who have hurt us,
Lord lend us your
heart.
For the humility to reach out to You,
Lord grasp our hand.
For the ability to see your image, even in the most
unlikable,
Lord lend us your
eyes.
When we are feeling unlovable and broken,
Lord shine Your light,
penetrate our woundedness, and bring us
healing.
Heal me, LORD, that I may be healed; save me, that I may be
saved, for it is you whom I praise. Jeremiah
17:14
Lord, continue to
bless all families.
Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
