Pray for Families (Come to the table of plenty)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

It is often distressful when a family member wanders away from the Lord or perhaps has never known the Lord.  One wants to scream out, “You don’t know what you’re missing!” but refrains since who has the words to truly describe the transformative effects of the Spirit?  Who can describe with words the goodness of the Lord?

Peace
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.  John 14:27

Love and Mercy
O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plenteous redemption.  Psalm 130: 7

Joy
Those to whom God gives riches and property, and grants power to partake of them, so that they receive their lot and find joy in the fruits of their toil: This is a gift from God.  For they will hardly dwell on the shortness of life, because God lets them busy themselves with the joy of their heart.  Ecclesiastes 5: 18-19

Hope
Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.  Corinthians 4: 16-17

 Faith in Love
We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.  God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.  1 John 4:16

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.  Romans 11:36

Invite a wandering family member to spend time with you.  May your non-verbal witness and silent prayer for family be the spark that ignites.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Share the hope that is in you.  Pass it on.
