Pray for M.O.M.

Hello Prayer Angels,
During this Advent season, I thought we should all slow down a bit and take a few moments to de-stress from holiday pressures.
I challenge all of you to take at least 5 minutes of "me time" to read and reflect on the following scripture passage.  How might you apply it to your life?  marriage?  friendships?  Even though I have heard this passage at several weddings,  I am still struck by the beauty of it.
1 Corinthians 1-8, 13

1 If I speak in human and angelic tongues 2 but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.
And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.
3 Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, (love) is not pompous, it is not inflated,
it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury,
it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
4 Love never fails.

13
5 So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Share the love!  Pray for M.O.M.!

Peace and Joy,
Janet

P.S.  I created a new hybrid email list for our "marriage prayer warriors".  If you prefer not to be on this particular list, or would like to add someone to this marriage prayer community, please just let me know.  As always, please feel free to forward to friends/family.
And, to request/submit specific prayer requests, please log on to www.rosarylive.com and your intention will be prayed for during their live rosaries.

Pray for M.O.M.

Happy Monday Prayer Warriors!

It is time to storm heaven with prayer, as the holidays seem to bring additional stresses upon all.

As I read the attached bible verse, I was stuck out how the words we hear, (and thus the words we use) can change one's mood completely.  As we pray for marriages and work on improving our own, let us choose our words and tone wisely.   This verse comes from Song of Songs, Chapter 4,   I'd recommend reading the entire Chapter for it's beautiful poetic words of love.

You have ravished my heart, my sister, my bride; you have ravished my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one bead of your necklace. How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride, how much more delightful is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your ointments than all spices! Song of Songs 4:9-10

This week, pass along some words of love and some words of His Love.

As always, If you would like specific persons/marriages to be prayed for, I encourage you to log on to www.rosarylive.com and there you can type in your prayer request.  Every Monday evening they pray for marriages, although they will take prayer requests 24/7.

Peace and Joy,
Janet
