Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Sometimes I amuse myself contemplating Adam and Eve’s first
real fight, as they blame each other for the fall that resulted from disobeying
God. Adam blames Eve, because, well she
handed him the apple. Apparently he just
hunted and gathered, and only ate what she gave him. ;)
Then there is Eve, “If you would actually have a conversation with me
sometime, I wouldn’t have been talking to that snake in the first place!”
Things haven’t changed much.
Satan continues to lure many to become their own God and do what pleases
them with his subtle promptings, “Enjoy that (sinful) behavior. It makes you happy, doesn’t it? Why wouldn’t God want you to be happy?”
It’s seems like the importance of keeping Christ in one’s
marriage and listening to His voice is undeniable.
Hebrews 3:15
Let us pray for married couples:
For a deeper more
trusting relationship with God.
For an increase in their
ability to cooperate with God’s grace.
For an end to the
blame game and taking ownership.
For the desire to turn
away from sin.
For mutual forgiveness
for poor choices made in our past.
Lord hear our prayers!
Make haste with your grace.
Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
