Greetings Prayer Warriors,
We have spent many years praying for family members and family units. I have no doubt those prayers have borne fruit. What we haven’t spent any time doing, is praying for ourselves. We too are an important part of our families, as we are the ones who are spiritually uplifting our loved ones. If the pillars fall, the building unit collapses.
Though worn out with the length of your journey, you never said, “It is hopeless”; You found your strength revived, and so you did not weaken. Isaiah 57:10
Take some time to pray that you and your fellow prayer warriors will be fortified for the spiritual journey. That you will be strengthened in Him. That you can continue to carry the light of Christ in your hearts to shine forth to others, that all may come to know Him.
They that hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on eagles’ wings; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint. Isaiah 40:31
Heavenly Father, we, the prayer warriors, can often feel weak, defeated, frustrated, and weary. Thank you for the times we’ve felt energized, fortified, and on fire for You. In our hearts, we desire to be empowered for the long-haul journey, even when our spirits droop. Send a fresh outpouring of the Spirit upon us, renew us, and grant us the grace not to hide your light under a bushel basket of our insecurities, but rather to shine Your penetrating light of love, mercy, and hope to illuminate our families and as well as this darkened world. Jesus, we trust in You!
Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
Prayer really is the answer. Pass it on!
