Pray for Marriages (Loving More)

Greetings Prayer Angels,

This scriptural prayer for spouses that may be prayed alone or together:

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God;

Lord, teach us HOW to love.

Everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.

Lord, may our attempts to love well, make us a fitting dwelling place for you.

Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.

Lord, we want to know your MORE.  Help us.

In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.

Praise you Lord, for your gift of love and life!

In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins.

Thank you Jesus, for loving us so much!

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another.

Lord, give us the grace to love each other as you have loved us!

No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us.  1 John 4: 7-12

Heavenly Father, may your Spirit guide us and fill us with divine charity for one another so that others may come to know you through us.

Spend some time reflecting on these scripture passages.  Then pray confidently and boldly for marriages, especially for those marriages in most need of love and mercy.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Share the Father’s love.  Pass it on.

Pray for Families (Children of God)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

After a weeklong business meeting with peers and associates, I am reminded that I also have a work family.  Placing myself in His presence, I can see His fingerprints upon them.  I realize we are all children of the same God, whether or not everyone even believes in God.   If I listen to His small voice within me, surrender to His will, and act with love, perhaps somehow they will get to know Him better through me.

Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.  Romans 12:2

For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to bring to light the knowledge of the glory of God on the face of [Jesus] Christ. But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us.  2 Corinthians 4:6-7

Spend some quiet time in prayer for those you interact with that may not know our Lord yet.  Also, pray for those who know Him, but don’t love Him.  Then pray for the needs within your own family.

Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet

Reflect His love.  Pass it on.
