I make all things new. Revelation 21:5
Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Today is the feast day of St. Mary Magdalene. She is so relatable. Like us, she was sinner who struggled to free
herself from sin, continually battling the demons in her life. We entertain our demons because we think they
will bring us some level of joy, albeit fleeting, but instead the result is
usually a pendulum of emotions: pleasure-pain-pleasure-pain. Like her, we often wait until we hit rock bottom
to change. She literally hit “rock
bottom” in that she was going to be stoned for her behaviors! With great courage, she humbled
herself and sought new life in the Christ.
Sweet surrender!
So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things
have passed away; behold, new things have come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Assess the demons in your life, your marriage. Perhaps it’s time to clean house! Clean your
own “house” before you look at the filth in your spouse’s house. No matter what you have done, no matter how
shameful you may feel, the love of Christ is waiting. Do not wait for rock bottom, but if you are
already there do not despair, for we are
praying for you constantly. Make the
decision to surrender into the arms of Christ.
He will help cast out your demons.
Free yourself at last!
Peace, Joy, and Love,
Janet
Give someone hope. Help them surrender. Pass it on!
