Hope you had a great 4th of July and are enjoying today as the work Holiday!
Independence. In our youth and young adulthood, we strive to become independent. We finally reach independence, but then we marry and we must learn interdependence! And we thought becoming independent was hard! Fruitful interdependence relies on a foundation of trust.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5
So as we pray for marriages, let us pray for an increase in trust so that we/others can grow as a strong, interdependent couple where 1+1=3.
