Greetings Prayer Warriors,
As I contemplate family life, I have to smile at the Lord’s wisdom,
love, and dare I say, sense of humor. We
are both blessed and stressed by family, but what would our life be like
without them? Families are always a
blend of personalities and temperaments, some more pleasant than others, but
being stretched in charity and patience is exactly what each of us needs to
grow spiritually. So next time a member
of your family riles you up and pushes your buttons, respond with charity and patience,
and then say a prayer of thanksgiving to the Lord for challenging you to grow
in holiness. Then say a prayer for each
member of your family that they too may grow in holiness.
