Greetings Prayer Warriors,
One can hardly turn on the news without hearing about
violent murders, physical assaults, lack of respect for human life, and
evidence of a culture that has lost its moral compass. Change will not result from constant new
legislation and the enactment of more laws.
It will come from the conversion of hearts, an awareness of the laws
written upon each of our hearts, and a hunger for virtue.
I will
place my law within them, and write it upon their hearts; I will be their God,
and they shall be my people. Jeremiah
31:33
With the purging of prayer in schools, the elimination of
any celebration of Christian holidays in the workplace, and the secularization
of society, many people never have heard the Good News. Chances are,
they’ve never been taught the 10 Commandments either. But both
children and adults learn from what they see, so let us pray for an outpouring
of the Holy Spirit that we will have the courage to boldly witness in action,
word, or deed the Gospel messages.
Send forth your Spirit, ….renew
