Greetings Prayer Warriors,
While watching the
NCAA national championship game tonight, I marveled at the work it took each
team to get to the top. Driven by the
desire to be the very best, each individual puts in hours of practicing, perfecting,
coordinating, and communicating with their teammates so that they can be the #1
team. There road to success is
encouraged, supported, and celebrated by all.
What would
marriages be like if each spouse was even half as committed as these athletes
to be an amazing team? What role does
encouragement and support play in helping marriages succeed?
Just one thing: forgetting what lies behind but straining forward to what lies ahead, I continue my pursuit toward the goal, the prize of God’s upward calling, in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
In addition to
praying for marriages this week, please take some time to encourage, support,
and celebrate marriages.
