Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Many of my friends as well as people that I’ve met carry a
tangible sadness and heartache concerning their children, whom after having been
raised in a Christian home which honored the Sabbath and taught Christian
values, have turned away from their faith.
If this sounds familiar, don’t’ lose faith rather take
heart! Your children were born into a
home with light, God’s light. You did your best and the Lord illumined their
heart and mind. However the lure of the
culture continuously beckons and the darkness seeks to fill a void, but trust
in Him, be fervent in prayer for your children, and the Lord will look with
favor upon your efforts.
I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. These also I must lead, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.
For I am the LORD, your God, who grasp your right hand; it is I who say to you, do not fear, I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
Let us pray that when the Good Shepherd calls His lost
sheep, they will seek His voice and come back to the safety of His arms. Let us also pray for those who have always heard
His voice, that they may never be deafened and lose their way. And finally, please pray for those who were
born into darkness, whose family either never knew or never shared the Good
News. May all of you be His witnesses in
this cloudy world, so in need of the Son.
Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:16
