Greetings Prayer Warriors,
As we continue
Advent prayer and prepare our hearts to receive Him, let us pray with faith:
Lord, help us to realize how much we need a
Savior.
For we ourselves were once
foolish, disobedient, deluded, slaves to various desires and pleasures, living
in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another. Titus 3:3
Enlighten our minds that we may see the
weightiness of our sins.
May we fall to our knees in realization, and
be comforted by your infinite mercy.
Open our eyes to injustice all around us,
Thus moving us to action and compassion for those
in need.
Expand the capacity of our hearts to love,
Helping us to show kindness and patience to
the most unlovable.
Increase our faith, by generously pouring
your grace upon us,
Strengthening our hope that you will make all
crooked lines straight.
Fill us with peace,
So that we may be aware of your presence.
Through your Divine Light, may marriages be
purified, fortified, and renewed,
That all may know the tender love of a
Savior.
We need you, our Lord, God and Savior!
Amen.
When the kindness and
generous love of God our savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we
had done but because of his mercy he saved us through the bath of rebirth and
renewal by the holy Spirit, whom he richly poured out on us through Jesus
Christ our savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs
in hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7
