Greetings Prayer Warriors,
We pray for
families because we understand how important the family unit is. They are our source of comfort, our place of
belonging, and the ones who know us like no one else. They also are the ones who,
through their brutal honesty and gentle (or harsh) ribbing help us grow in humility,
kindness, and generosity, just to name a few virtues. We may not even realize how truly important
they are to us until they are gone.
Today, my heart
goes out to all those who have lost relatives this year. May God’s loving arms embrace you in your
sorrow while causing cherished memories to bloom anew.
He heals the broken-hearted, he binds up all their wounds. Psalms 147:3
For thus says the high and lofty One, the One who dwells forever, whose name is holy:
I dwell in a high and holy place, but also with the contrite and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, to revive the heart of the crushed. Isaiah 57:15
Lord, we pray for those family members who
have gone before us. They have inspired
us, challenged us, and shaped us in subtle ways. May their souls be received with gladness
into your kingdom. May they be cleansed
in the ocean of your mercy, and become our prayer warriors in heaven, bringing
our weekly petitions before You, our Savior. Lord, hear and answer us! Amen.
Peace, Joy, and
Love,
Janet
Pray for those who
have gone before us. They may prove to be your advocate in heaven! Pass it
on!
