Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Why is it that the journey of some couples appears to be a stroll along a road paved with brick and lined with flowers, while other couples are given a path of rocky cliffs with thorns and thistles? We don’t exactly know the answer to that, but we only know the narrow view we see. Perhaps the rose-lined path has frequent storms? Perhaps the rocky cliffs, are caressed with cool gently breezes? Let us meditate on the fact that the Lord always gives us custom-made crosses, never leaves or forsakes us, and always seeks to perfect us in this world so that we may live an eternity with Him. What a gift!
Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant be. The Father will honor whoever serves me. John 12:24-26
Lifted through prayer for one another, let us die to self, embrace our crosses, follow Him, and sing songs of praise to He who loves us so much, He wants to be with us forever!
