Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Women, it is said that the way to a man’s heart is through
his stomach. Easy enough. It can’t end there though, because the way to
a man’s soul is through his heart. He
must be spiritually fed as well, so that his soul becomes sensitive to the fire
of God’s love. Only then can his love become a blaze of glory!
Men, the way to a women’s heart is through her ears. Nourish them with words of love, honor, and
truth, followed by actions that mirror the same, and her heart will be yours. But she too must be spiritually fed, or there
will be an emptiness she feels that you never can fill.
“It is written:
‘One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth
from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4
What is your marriage hungering for? The Lord is always knocking on the door of
your heart, seeking to be the center of your marriage. He wants you to keep Him there too, so he can
nourish it, heal it, transform it, and make you and your spouse a beacon of
light for others.
Perhaps your spouse doesn’t yet see the effects of his/her
spiritual malnourishment. Not to worry, you have prayer warriors petitioning on your
behalf.
Holy Spirit come with
the fire of your love!! Bring the winds
of change, so that even the most stubborn hearts are moved by your action
within their soul. Create a holy curiosity for them to know you. Fan into flame their desire to seek you. Bless each marriage and reignite the sparks
of love found early in their courtship.
