Greetings Prayer Warriors,
Last week the 3 million+ pilgrims who descended upon
Copacabana Beach in Rio for World Youth
Day, heard Pope Francis in essence, commission them as disciples.
"Where does
Jesus send us?" he asked them. "There are no borders, no limits: He
sends us to everyone."
Do not be afraid; for behold, I
proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Luke 2:10
He also told them
that not sharing their experience of God's love with others would be "like
withholding oxygen from a flame that was burning strongly."
For this reason, I remind you to
stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the
imposition of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6
Powered by Love, we
are all called as God’s children to share the gospel. The Lord wrote His name upon our hearts, and here for many, a dormant desire rests like a pilot
light waiting to be burst forth.
All journeys are
most fruitful when accompanied by prayer.
Pray that as we the children of God journey toward Him, we never neglect
to invite others to walk with us. May we
grow in holy desire and become emboldened to share the joy, peace, and love
that is only found in Him.
