Pray for Marriages (Fruit begets Fruitfulness)

Greetings Prayer Warriors,

Marriage takes work. But you toil in vain unless you ask the Lord to increase the fruits of the Spirit within you.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Holy Spirit, reinstruct us how to use those gifts that have lain dormant from lack of use. Help them spring forth in us, that our marriages will bloom in new ways.

Neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who causes the growth. 1 Corinthians 3:7

Lord we trust in your loving kindness.  Take the marriages that appear the most barren in fruit, and make them new trees of life, so all will know you are God!
